Can I Make A Reservation? How Long Before The Driver Will Arrive? Reservations are recommended but not required. Without a reservation the average wait is 30-40 minutes. However, between 1am and 2:15am the service is often fully booked with reservations causing much longer wait times for new callers.
How Will I Know My Safe Riders Driver Has Arrived? Your Safe Riders Driver will call you at the cell phone number you provide to dispatch a few minutes before they arrive at your location and ask you to meet them at your vehicle. All Safe Riders Drivers are well identified with A Safe Riders Shirt, Hat & Name Badge. Your Safe Riders Driver will also be carrying a clipboard with your ride information. Does Safe Riders Operate in Bad Weather? Yes . . But Safe Riders chauffeurs will not drive your vehicle during extremely icy road conditions. Safe Riders chauffeurs will pick you up and drive you home in a Safe Riders vehicle--your car will not be driven during dangerous road conditions.
Is There Any Paperwork? Is My Information Confidential? Safe Riders requests insurance information and verbal authorization at the time the chauffeur is requested. In addition, the client must sign at the completion of every ride to indicate the vehicle and keys were returned to them. All client information is private, protected, and is not re-used or sold to any outside organization.
Should I Tip My Driver? Tips Are Always Optional and Always Appreciated.
Where Can I Be Picked Up From? Anywhere. However, Safe Riders is generally unable to make residential pickups between 1:00 and 2:15am. We are trying to get as many bar patrons out of the parking lots during that time and have to schedule residential pickups earlier or later. Outside of those times there are no other restrictions on where you can be picked up from.
